Our Step 1 lash lift solution, often referred to as the perming solution, works through a chemical process to reshape the lashes. Here’s a more detailed look at how it works:

Chemical Breakdown: The solution contains chemicals, that break down the disulfide bonds in the lash hairs. These bonds are what give the lashes their natural shape and structure.

Softening the Lashes: By breaking these bonds, the solution softens the lash hairs, making them more pliable. This allows the lashes to be molded into the desired curl or shape.

Preparation for Shaping: Once the lashes are softened, they can be gently lifted and shaped. The shape is typically set by the design of the shield you choose and the way the lashes are positioned around it.

Timing and Effectiveness: The duration that Step 1 is left on varies, please see our recommended timings below. We advise careful timings to ensure that the lashes are sufficiently softened without being damaged. The process is critical for achieving the desired curl and ensuring the longevity of the lift.

Our Step 1 solution box contains 10 sachets. We estimate that you're able to get up to 4 lash lifts from each sachet.

When the products come in direct contact with eyes, nose and mouth, rinse out immediately and consult with a medical professional. Discontinue to use if any of the above symptoms occur, as continuing to use may worsen symptoms. Consult with a dermatologist if red spots, swelling, irritation or a reaction occurs. Throw the product away after use.Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, shaded environment below room temperature and keep away from direct sunlight. Each sachet is to be used immediately after opening.

How to use

Using our re-usable applicator, apply step one a few millimetres from the root of the lashes. Your Step 1 cream should cover about 1/4 of the lash. If your clients lashes are particularly curly, apply step one up to 1/2 of the lash. You should always avoid the tips of the lashes.

Don't forget to set your timer before you start!

Processing time guide:

Fine lashes: 4-5 minutes

Full Lashes: 5-6 minutes

Thick, Course lashes: 6-8 minutes

Using a clean cotton bud, remove Step 1 from the lashes, quickly. We advise using a “flicking motion” in order to avoid getting any product onto the tips of the lashes.

Don't forget to set your timer before you start!

Yes, it is not possible to achieve a lash lift without using all of the steps. Step one will break the bond of the hair, allowing you to reshape the lashes. Follow on with Step 2, which will allow you to fix it.
