Lash lift vs lash extensions

When it comes to enhancing the beauty of your lashes, there are two options to choose from. Both treatments will enhance your lashes, however application and  overall look is completely different.

A lash lift is a semi permanent treatment in which two solutions are used to break down the bonds in the lashes and set, allowing the lash hairs to be lifted and curled. Compared to lash extensions, lash lifts are generally more subtle, making them ideal for people that like more of a natural look. 

There are many pros to having lash lifts! The first being it is a low maintenance as they last 6-8 weeks, this also means it is more of an affordable option. Overall the treatment takes no more than 45 minutes so it is a quick work break treat! 

Eyelash extensions is where lash technicians attach a single lash to each of your natural lashes creating longer, fuller lashes. This treatment is perfect if you like to experiment with different looks as there's many different styles & lengths to chose from when having extensions, they can be natural or super glam. 

This treatment requires a bit more maintenance as infills are recommended every 2-4 weeks to keep them looking as fresh as possible, to maintain fullness. Most sets of extensions can take up to 2 hours, depending on the style & length of the set required. 

Ultimately the choice depends on a range of things, your lifestyle, preferences & the desired outcome. If you prefer a more natural look with low maintenance, a lash lift might be the treatment for you! On the other hand if you like instant glam, a choice of styles & don't mind the upkeep then extensions may be the choice for you.
